School-at-Home
Please note: I will soon stop updating assignments on this page. Students, please register for GoogleClassroom ASAP, so you don't miss any postings or announcements.
This is where I'll post assignments during the time LAUSD is closed due to public health concerns. Please check this page each morning. I'll post any updates by 10am daily. LAST UPDATE: 3/29/2020
Assignments are divided into TWO SECTIONS: General, and Specific.

Specific assignments are like "Must Dos". They will be graded, and are due by the blue date. Except for Lang. Arts, all assignments below apply to both Room 7 and Room 8 students.
Here you can access a spreadsheet of which assignments have been completed, so you know if I got yours.

This means finishing the essay planner, like we did last Thursday and Friday, then turning the notes in each of the boxes into a paragraph (in Pages). (See Quiz and Writing in "Activities" tab on the right.) •Prepare answers to the questions, "How do readers identify and summarize key events?", and "How can writing a summary help you better understand a story?" (You will soon be adding them to Mr. Stern's Blog, so other students in our class can see your answers). •Log onto Clever and access Benchmark. Email Mr. Stern if you have trouble reaching the book we're reading in class (with Peter Pan on the cover). •Read How Dorothy Saved the Scarecrow.
